Sodium

Sodium in tap water is usually small next to food — but it is reported so people who track sodium can get local numbers.

This site reports what records say. Whether a level matters for you is a medical question for your provider.

What people notice

People on low-sodium diets, or anyone who saw a number on a report and wondered what it means.

What records usually show

Day-to-day cards may show sodium when samples exist. Ontario practice: note levels above 20 mg/L so people on restricted diets can plan. Aesthetic objective ≤200 mg/L (taste). Neither is a “poison” line. We do not give medical advice.
