Water Monitor

About this site

We turn Ontario’s open drinking-water records into plain language so households can understand local public files without reading like a regulator.

What this is

An independent guide. One job: help people make sense of public water records. Numbers come from the datasets we list. Summaries follow fixed rules on how summaries are made. If our wording and official records disagree, official records win.

What this is not

Found a possible error?

Matching mistakes can happen. Compare the page with the official source linked on each report — official records always win. Known issues are fixed when we rebuild the data.

Funding

Today: no ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored content. Later the project may use ads or related education links to stay online. If that happens, it will be labeled clearly — we will not hide paid relationships.
